I love the way that the Christmas ornaments look in the drawings. However, this is a bit odd.

Hahaha....as it is my cats eat the tree decorations, I dread to think what the tree would look like if it was 'laced' with food goodies!

Ooooh! My mom has one of those! I vaguely recall it's branches spearing red and green gum drops (I don't think you call these "gum drops", though - I'm thinking of those little mound-shaped gummy candies that are coated in fine crystal sugar?) at Christmas time and springier shapes at Easter. I don't remember sausages, but I could just be blocking it out.

Canapes? I wonder how you'd get the little crackers or bread to stick? Maybe I don't want to know.

Could they be called Fruit Pastilles here?.. And yes I think I too would have a memory blank where sausages on tree's are concerned...

Oh my goodness me...Why, oh why, oh why???

Phoenix found the item on one of the vintage slides in his collection. Made his own and viola! His shows are amazing. And yes, although I have no entry on the site, I did make one for a friend’s graduation/laser tag party (proof age has nothing to do with maturity). It does have a presence, a weird presence, but a presence none the less...

I guess the real question is why would a respectable 1950s family feel the need to make the first one?

If I ever drop by and find you dangling sausages from your fake Christmas Tree there will be trouble, do you understand

LOL! Taking Artificial Christmas Trees to a whole new level.
