Happy New Year and good luck with the move to Blogger. I use them for my simple little blog, after trying other abodes, and they suit my uncomplicated needs perfectly.

OH Alison! I'm excited for you! I've thought of this many many times. Typepad is lovely, but limiting for me as well. But, too lazy and chicken to change. We'll see though, maybe you'll be my inspiration!

I'm glad I stoppped in to read this. I would have been devastated to come here and find you gone. I received a notice today that my favorite magazine, Cottage Living, is no longer being published and I am so sad it's going away. I imagine that's the way I would have felt had I come here and found you gone. Change is good and I look forward to the new site. You are such an inspiration.

Hi Sweetie... moving all the old posts from Typepad to Blogger is by the looks of it horribly difficult due to the fact that they speak two different languages... so my intention is to leave this site online for the time being and link to it from the new site...

As for your finds, well I find myself a teeny bit envious... it has been a lifetime since I went hunting for treasure and Christmas goodies are always the bestest kind aren't they??

Wouldn't it be nothing short of wonderful to go treasure hunting together??

Oh my! When you say CHANGE you mean it! Maybe it's a silly question, but will we still be able to access all of the old at the new address? . . .or should we keep both on hand? . . .or will the old cease to exist?

I was thinking of you today. I went antiquing. I saw the cutest red tulle apron with gold glitter that you have ever seen!

. . . and antique Christmas goodies! Some vintage, some truly antique! A selection like I have only seen in magazines and dreamt of!

. . .so I bought a few. All that my post Christmas-budget would allow, when I was really looking for Valentines.

. . .and thought of you, a lot! I wish you could have been there. You would have loved it.

I will be so happy for you to move to Blogger. Typepad can be challenging not only for the blogger, but also for the commenter. I will definitely reset my blogroll to reflect the change. Best wishes with it!
