I would think before taking a "staged" photo, one would put a full roll of paper towels on in place of the empty cardboard roll... or is that just me?
I have one lonely apron, sent by a friend, but it is oh so lovely, and I've been too scared of messing it up to actually use it!
I really need some everyday usable ones...

"sack of potatoes and bosoms" is usually how I feel when I see my self in one. So I just ignore the mirrors and wear them anyway. I have found myself planning my Thanksgiving day wardrobe around what apron I will be wearing...

Aprons are sexy. Even if I just pretend to look as hot as these women in an apron, I feel sexier when I put one on. I love how these women embraced their power of womanhood.

ok, first... is that first still Terry jones in Monty Python's A Meaning of Life? If not it is my sincere hope that is some other dude. Yikes.

Second, sure these ladies look great- and they are all marvelously skinny, and it is my earnest contention that when you are skinny you can wear anything, quite literally sack cloth, and look gorgeous.

I always feel glamorous in an apron. Even if I'm wearing it over jeans. It helps that my son has the idea hard-wired in his brain that apron=dress=pretty girl. So as soon as I put on an apron I get an immediate, "Mommy, you look beautiful!"

Can I just mention that I discovered that 8% of people buying a retro Housekeeping calendar decide to buy a Mamma Mia DVD instead?? (i have too much time on my hands today... no, not really, I'm procrastinating. back to work!)
